Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Great customer service skills.
Support a climate of effective communication among fellow team members.
Knowledge of food safety practices.
Recognizes and appreciates cultural diversity at many levels.
Demonstrates a competency at all levels in providing care to all patients.
Ability to learn specific patient diets.
Prepares food trays for general and therapeutic diets.
Prepares and delivers items as requested by Patient Care Unit or Patients.
Understand and adjust menus to meet guidelines for special diets.
Assists in preparing food and nourishments.
Responsible for clean-up of work environment, including some dish washing, mopping,
and trash removal.
Ability to move into various Nutritional Services positions as-needed.
Maintain an adequate supply of food items on floors for patients.
Minimum Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Ability to work in various areas of the Nutritional Services department.
Excellent customer service, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and be a team player
