Responsible for supporting the inside, outside, and project management positions by providing additional layer of support to the customer base.
Primary Duties:
Back-up Inside Sales Team for overflow sales calls.
Follow-up on quotations to our key and target customers to ensure Crescent is proactively closing orders.
Conversion of quotations to sales orders.
Manage order expedite and open order reports to ensure status is current as defined by the District Manager/District Sales Manager.
Expedite orders with vendors.
Assist project manager in submittal completion/correction.
Bill customers as invoices are received.
Build strong professional relationships with customers and vendors to provide superior customer service.
Initiate proactive communication with customers through the duration of the order utilizing system tools.
Respond to problems throughout the duration of the project/sales order as they arise.
Proper documentation of all correspondence between vendor, Crescent, and customer throughout the duration of the order.
Individual must possess strong comprehensive PC skills and basic product knowledge.
Must have ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints and against deadlines.
Must possess interpersonal and organizational skills and be detail oriented.
Have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor''s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred.
Previous knowledge of wholesale electrical distribution is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
